What is a bonded warehouse and what are the advantages?
European customs issues are completely different than US customs. BELSPEED offers bonded customs warehouse services. The garments come in to our bonded warehouse. Customs duties aren’t paid until the garments are actually shipped to the customers. For countries outside the European Union, these garments are not taxed until they arrive at their destination. For countries within the EU, the duties are paid when the garments leave our warehouse. This allows the manufacturers and distributors a better cash flow, since duties aren’t paid in advance (as they would be in a regular warehouse).
